1. SZENTENDRE (4 hours)
A half day visit to the mediterranean artists’ town, walk along the Danube, museum visit, coffee and cake, shopping possibility, freetime.
2. DANUBE BEND TOUR (full day)
Excursion to Ezstergom, Visegrád, Szentendre - towns of archbishops, kings and artists. Wonderful landscape, historical buildings, the largest roman catholic church in Hungary, a castle and a charming mediterranean town. Lunch and wine tasting included.
3. PUSZTA TOUR (full day)
Full day tour to the romantic Hungarian Great Plain (Puszta). Guided walk in Kecskemét (capital of Puszta). Visit of a traditional farm (tanya) with a country tavern (csárda): horse-show, carriage ride, typical Hungarian three course lunch with wine and gipsy music.
4. BALATON (full day)
Tour to the 'Hungarian Sea', Balaton . Visit the most picturesque sites of the lake area. The 11th century romanesque cript with the 18th century abbey and the street of the craftsmen at Tihany. The oldest holiday resort - Balatonfüred, during summer you can enjoy swimming as well.
5. GÖDÖLLŐ „SISSI PALACE” (4 hours)
Excursion to the former summer residence of the Hungarian Queen Elisabeth - Sissi. Interior guided tour in the baroque Grassalkovich Palace and walk in the garden. Coffee and cake in the Palace Café.
6. VILLÁNY WINE REGION (full day)
Excursion to the most famous Hungarian red wine growing area - Villány, vineries of quality red and rosé wines - Bock, Gere or Tiffany wine cellar. Wine tasting and traditional home made style lunch. On the way back short sightseeing tour in the medieval Pécs town.
7. TOKAJ WINE REGION & EGER(full day)
Excursion to Tokaj wine region (part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage) where the world famous Tokaji Aszú 'wine of the kings & king of the wines' is produced. On the way to Tokaj short visit of Eger, town of the Hungarian baroque and home of the famous 'Bull's Blood' red wine. In Tokaj you will visit the traditional 'Rákóczi Cellar', wine tasting and home made style lunch. This program is especially recommended for wine lovers.
8. PANNONHALMA - SOPRON – GYÕR (full day)
A special tour to the north-western part of Hungary. Visit Pannonhalma Benedictine Abbey (part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage), founded in 996. Lunch in Sopron, walk in the renessaince and baroque old town. On the way back short stop at Gyõr, the picturesque bishopric town.
