Tank driving is an incomparable, thrilling driving experience and is ideal for corporate entertainment and team building. It provides you with an incredible sense of power as you control some of the world's heaviest military machines.
By taking part in this tour, you can learn how to handle a tracked vehicle and cope with un-imaginable obstacles using tanks. The feeling of ruling these beasts of steel will last for a lifetime. We offer driving on a 50 hectare military training ground that is located 70 kilometers from the centre of Budapest. Rumbling caterpillars, brutal horsepower and very high adrenaline levels - it is not an every day experience.
On arrival you will have a technical lesson about the vehicles and the driving and receive protective overall (if requested). Then the GSP-55 training vehicle is waiting for you on the proving ground. Perhaps it has the best cross-country capacity in the world. On the practical training you can drive the vehicle through a training course, which is an off road track with continuously increasing difficulty and more and more incredible obstacles.
After the tour with the GSP-55, you can enter the second vehicle, more armor, more power, even more fun! T-55 has 580 horsepower and is basically unstoppable. The driving time is 15 minutes per person in each tank. During the tours one instructor is always on the board of each vehicle.
Optional:
- Paintball on a 40 000 m2 area including a ruined building, several shelters, trenches and the dangerous open field. There is possibility for either 35 people to play paintball together, the minimum number of the participants is 6. The complete equipment is provided. On the field the guests can prove the open field battle, fight within a building and the urban battle or try different kind of games, like team against team, capture the flag, survivor, hostage rescue.
Tank driving
- 3-course traditional lunch in an exclusive Hungarian restaurant on the Old Lake’s beach, between the beautiful, 15th century Tata Castle and the magnificent, late baroque Eszterházy Mansion. Enjoy the enchanting environment and the tasty dishes.
