Azimut 62 – The Yacht of Dreams
Aggressive and refined, sporty and brazen, with sophisticated lines and aerodynamic solutions: this is the first impression of Azimut 62. On this boat as on all Azimut boats, the side windows are ample to brighten the interiors with natural lighting. These windows distinguish the boat's outer design for their shape - those on the main deck have a fin-like contour while those on the lower deck are oval-shaped - as well as for their mirror-like surface. The flying bridge is very aerodynamic as well with a raised rollbar in the middle and with sunning area, ample and interchangeable lounge, bar cabinet and upper helm station to port.
In the center of the cockpit there is the gangway. Crew cabin access is from the cockpit aft settee - this cabin is very ample and bright, with twin beds and ensuite bathroom. The cockpit is made up of two main areas, one with table and chairs and the other one with a waste basket and the elegant ladder to the aft platform, where there is a shower with water mixer and two lockers for fender storage. Extremely functional solutions make the interiors of the Azimut 62 extremely comfortable and private. As a matter of fact, apart from the extremely beautiful layout and furnishings (Majilite fabric paneling, cherry wood cabinets with chess-like veins, stainless steel fittings and walnut root inserts, toilet top in glossy enameled tempered glass available in blue, green or beige) the interiors are rich in details that make the difference.
There are spacious cabinets in the galley and containers on the hull side, there is an ice maker and a crockery holding space. An ample cabinet for the master stateroom is fitted in front of the stairway leading to the cabins. There is a service room with a washing/drying area and drying rack. Moreover, the salon may be used in two different ways: with opposite settees or with a settee to port and a multi-functional cabinet to starboard. The dinette, with a table that may be installed for use, is ideal for 8 persons.
In the galley there is a very practical and nice stainless steel/walnut root worktop. Inside the master stateroom the bed is slanted in order to use the maximum width of the boat's hull. Last, but not least, the engine room is fitted with Politone Marine Tec floor, a special washable plastic material developed for greater sound and vibration insulation.
